By Mei Kin Chew

Abhisit's four-month-old government in Bangkok have created wide dissention from the people of Thailand; being accused of undermining Democracy.

Abhisit imposed state of emergency in Thailand, banning the gathering of 5 more people in public places. Abhisit allegedly imposed the state of emergency because he "wants to return the country to normalcy".

However, the people of Thailand seem determined to oust the Abhisit administration at all cost. One of the protest leader stated that "We told our people to be ready and prepared... the people will be our weapon."

This event will cost Thailand not only the social peace and harmony but also a substantial decline in tourism witht the outbreak of the chaos.
