NATO Oil Tankers Attacked in Pakistan
As of recent news up to 20 oil tankers have been set afire in Pakistan. These oil tankers were meant to go to the troops in Afghanistan. This is the third time that it happened in only one week. Two people were killed in this attack and they were both described as terrorists. The people who attacked the oil takers were militants who are most strongest in the Northwestern border region. The U.S. could use different routes but the cheapest is through Pakistan. One of the main routes is the Khyber pass. This is used to bring many things for military use such as military vehicles, food, supplies, and fuel. The attack was right near Islamabad. There are many Islamic groups that are opposed to the war that is being brought to Afghanistan. One of the other routes into Afghanistan is in Chaman which is in the southwest region of the country.
