German Doesn't Get Much Sun. How Did it Become a Leader in Solar Energy?

Germany turnes to Solar Energy to aid them in being a global green-power leader. In 1991 German took a positive step to help them accomplish their green energy goals by passing the renewable energy law, Erneuerbare Energien Gesetz. This law gave hydroelectric power generators a market for their electricity. Currently, twenty-two percent of Germany's power is generated with renewables.
