Muslims worry about broader France headscarf ban

In this article, there is a discussion of the prominence in religious ethnicity. France has tried to prohibit people from wearing various religious symbols when working for the government, including the traditional head covering worn by Muslim women. the president is trying to ban these religious garments not only in the public sector, but the private sector as well. People in these groups claim that this is nothing against those who practice Islam, even though it is white Christians who have run politics. There seems to be a clash of different ethnicities between being French and being Muslim.
