Can France Be America's New Bridge to Europe?

President Trump has stated that he is going to pull out of the Iran nuclear deal because he believes it is not in the United States best interest to continue abiding by the rules of the agreement. In this article it talks about how the U.S. Allies in Europe are starting to worry because they think that because of this move, the U.S. would adopt a very "America first" mentality when dealing with foreign policy. So, now Emmanuel Macron, president of France, plans to make his first official state visit to the U.S. April 23-25 in order to try and put France in a better spot when countries are dealing with foreign policy.
