"More Belgians close to nuclear facilities get iodine pills for emergencies"-CNN

As Belgium is changing their "nuclear emergency plan," the government has begun to pass out iodine pills to its citizens spanning over a sixty two mile radius than their preceding twelve mile radius. The iodine protects against any radiation posioning that could be affecting the thyroid from the plants. Their revision of the nuclear power plan has nothing to do with the increased terrorism, as the Belgian government said, but they are increasing their protection against the plants since so much of their electricity is dependent on these plants.
