Chile... 2 Months Later
Its hard to believe but finally the Chilean miner's that were trapped half a mile beneath the earth since late August are finally out of their hole. To the astonishment of the whole world the 33 miners were rescued with the help of NASA specialists and other doctors and engineers to bring them back to the earths surface. On the political spectrum this incident united the governments of Chile and Bolivia as one of the miners was from Bolivia. It was a gathering of President Sebastian Pinera and Bolivia's President Evo Morales which is significant because of strained relations between the two countries in the recent past. "Bolivia will not forget this!" proclaimed Morales. It was a shining moment for Chile who finally garnered the global spotlight for a positive reason.
