The article I chose this week, I selected from “Ecuador’s
original English language new paper”
This article talks about the femicide happening in Ecuador.
This is an ongoing event that has been happening for years. The article goes
into detail from as far as 2020. “Between
January and June 2021 there were 68 femicides in Ecuador according to civil society
organizations. In the same period of 2020, there were 53”.
The amount of violence that women face in foreign countries
is so saddening and it puts into perspective how harshly women are treated outside
of the united states.
