Hikers' release from Iran prison delayed again, lawyers says

According to CNN, the lawyer was not able to get signature on the bail paper because the judge is on vacation until Tuesday. The bail has been paid for the hikers Shane Bauer and Josh Fattal but the bail paper has yet to be signed, says the lawyer Masoud Shafiee.
A delegation of American Muslims and Christian leaders have asked the Irani president for the release of these hikers. But the head of the human rights department of the Iranian judiciary has linked the case tot he America's treatment of detainees. "If the U.S. is so sensitive about two of its spies and tries to free them, it should look at the way it treats other nationalities," he says in an interview. These three hikers have been arrested in July 2009.
Ahmedinejad is planning to travel to New York for the UN General Assembly on Monday. There he will give a speech and meet with other presidents. His visit is not linked with the hikers' release.
