Protest in China against Zhejiang Jinko Solar Company

Around five hundreds residents have protested against Zhejiang Jinko Solar factory, whose holding company, JinkoSolar Holding Company is exchange-listed on the New York Stock Exchange, and riot police were sent out in Haining city, China. Both companies did not comment on this protest nor pollution problem.

According to the Haining’s environmental protection bureau, the waste disposal by this company have never qualified a pollution test for months from last April. Residents became concerned after huge number of fish died in a river into which the company is discharging waste. Some says that he is concerning about health problem of the youth.
