Members of the former ruling party have cried fowl at the results, accusing the opposition of voter fraud. CENI, the nation's independent electoral commission, has stated that there are no cases of voter fraud, despite the 28 allegations filled by the losing contender Diallo. This election ends a 54 year history of dictatorship for the African nation.
