High radiation found far from Japan nuke plant

Radiation levels in a village about 25 miles from a nuclear plant in Japan are over the recommended levels according to the International Atomic Energy Agency. Japan had only evacuated 19-mile zone around the nuclear plant and stated that people living farther away would be safe for at least a two week period. The radiation is becoming a problem. Radiation has been found in the soil, the water near the nuclear plant. It has even made its way into produce and dairy. To prevent the spread of radiation resin will be sprayed on the ground around the plant and a cloth tenting will be placed over the reactors to allow workers to stay in other areas of the plant. Japan is now looking the the International Atomic Energy Agency to help prevent future nuclear accidents. Read more
