Progress in the North Korea-United States relations has been made yet again, this time with planning for a North Korean diplomat to hand deliver a letter to the President here in the United States. The official will arrive at Washington on Friday. President Trump described the letter as being “very important to them [the North’s officials]”, though we can only speculate why at this juncture. The U.S. Secretary of State remains optimistic about North Korea’s potential denuclearization, and says talks with North Korea's former Chief of Military Intelligence, Kim Yong-chol, have been positive.
