2 killed, 50 injured in earthquake in Serbia

At least 50 people were injured and two killed in an earthquake in central Serbia early Wednesday morning. The earthquake was a 5.3 magnitude and struck 125 kilometers or 75 miles south of the Serbian capital, Belgrade, at 01:56 a.m.. Kraljevo was hardest hit. The earthquake destroyed or damaged buildings and left parts of the city without electricity, running water or telephone lines. The two deaths was a couple in their 50s that lived in a suburb of Kraljevo. They were in their house when the roof collapsed in. In their suburb there were many damaged builds, mostly older, that includes the local hospital and the town hall. Several cars were also destroyed from falling concrete from the buildings.Romania, Croatia and Macedonia also felt the earthquake.
