2010 Midterm May Have Impact Abroad

The 2010 midterm elections not only have people in the United States talking, but overseas as well. The Democrats' loss of control of the House of Representatives, and reduced control in the Senate have left nations abroad wondering if there will be any changes in policy. Foreign attitudes seem to be that President Obama may not be able to create the policies that he wants. There is no doubt that American allies will be keeping a close eye on the situation in Afghanistan and Iraq. Unfortunately it seems as though dealing with the United States will be more difficult than before for European nations. President Obama no longer has the power he once had in the House and Senate. However, it must be mentioned that many experts beleive that President Obama will not back down from his liberal camp that he has been apart of. President Obama will not be scarred or intimdated that the Democrats no longer have control of the House. It will be interesting to see what Washington's relationship with Isreal will be, and how much leway congress will give President Obama on the issue.
