Warning Shots Fired in the Yellow Sea

Earlier this morning, the South Korean Navy fired warning shots at a North Korean fishing boat in an attempt to push the fishing boat back onto its side of the Yellow Sea. The fishing boat reportedly drifted back to its side of the Yellow Sea two and a half hours later. This is not the only hostile interaction North and South Korea have had recently. Last week, North and South Korean military units exchanged gunfire near the border. North Korean forces first fired at South Korean military guard near the border of Chorwon, South Korea. Tensions between the two heightened since the Korean War and continue to linger due to the fact you cannot separate the two or terminate their relationship. Hopefully this situation will not escalate.
