The US is contemplating to whether or not to add Venezuela to the list of nations that support terrorism. This list includes nations such as North Korea, Iran, Sudan, and Syria. I chose this article because it was interesting to learn that such a list exists. If Venezuela is added to this list, then this means that sanctions could be placed on them that will stunt their growth and role in the global community. I am curious as to why a country would fuel international terrorism in order to reach their objectives. It surely must be a dangerous tactic to take and I feel as though the reward is not great enough.
