Stephen Walt is a professor at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government and widely recognized as a prominent realist in the field of International Relations. In this article he, and three other prominent academics, critique another controversial article written by former Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz on realism and US foreign policy. Paul Wolfowitz was a forceful advocate for the U.S. invasion of Iraq during his time in the Bush administration.
