Brazil and Iran Relations
Brazilian president elect Dilma Roussef has come out and stated that brazil will only have peaceful relations with all middle eastern states. She has said that war will never be the answer for Brazil. This is important because it opens up a new type of alliance only peaceful, it shows all middle eastern states that they are not a threat, but also that it will not be an aggressor in military strategy. THis is sort of a neutral stance on the situation, they will not help the UN militarily, but only diplomatically. She has also stated that this is a new time for woman in Brazil she will lead with peace, and it will remain that way while she is in office. This could be big for Brazil seeing that they are developing into a strong figure in their own country, and also internationally.
