German Chancellor Angela Merkel urged China to influence Iran to give up its its nuclear weapons program during her three day trip to China. Also during her visit she will be pushing for harsher sanctions on Iran and seeking support from China for Europe' debt crisis. Premier Wen Jiabao isnt very supportive of doing anything regarding Iran. However, he also said that China was considering getting more involved regarding the European debt issue.
