Acid Attack in Hong Kong

A man is treated for acid burns in Hong Kong, May 16, 2009
Two bottles of a corrosive liquid (maybe acid) were thrown or fell from a building into crowds of shoppers in the Mong Kok district. Samples of the liquid are being tested in a laboratory to uncover exactly what it is. 30 suffered from injuries. They suffered burns to their legs, arms and faces.

A similar incident happened in December, when 46 people were harmed in the same shopping district. The police has not found anyone to link to this case. "We will find out whether the two cases were done by the same person as soon as possible," said Superintendant Leung Ka-ming.

I find it very interesting and scary that something like this could happen twice! The police should surveillance the area so more people don't get hurt!
