Obama Would Move Some Detainees to U.S

Matt Boguslawski

Congress was in shock Thursday with aspects of the speech presented by President Obama. In his speech said that some detainees from Guantanamo Bay will be held in super max security prisons in the US. This was a complete surprise to Congress. Fears such as the fact that these facilities will be targets of attack by other terrorists and the possibility of escape. Another main issue of Obama's was that some prisoners would not get a trial even when in the US. The question of building new prisons or putting them in already existing ones was also addressed.
