Fourteen killed in Tunisia unemployment protests

In the towns of Thala, Kasserine and Regued protests for more freedom and jobs have been healed over the last month. Officials state that in Thala and Kasserine, officers were forced to fire in self-defense against rioters who started to attack public buildings. Five people were reported dead in Thala and five more in Kasserine. Four more individuals were killed in Regued. Protesters claim there are more casualties despite the number the officials reported. These violent protests are rare in Tunisia but the US has expressed their concerns with how the Tunisia government is handling these riots. These violent demonstrations are a result of anger caused by the Tunisia president. By. Ana Rivera
