Nigerian Flood Displaces 700
The heavy flooding that has plagued Nigeria since early September is taking its toll on the population. Nearly 700 people in a small suburb of Lagos have been relocated to special camps specifically for the relief efforts. The flooding, which has been caused by the rising of the Ogun River due to a new dam, has yet to cause any casualties. However, the government can see no way to solve the problem by themselves, and can only "Wait until nature runs its course"
