January 8th, a group of Christian youths violently attacked a car full of Muslims whom were returning from a wedding in central Nigeria. In the article, JOS officials stated that the group of Christian youths killed seven people inside the vehicle. In addition, engaged disciplinary violence that left one person dead. The incident emerged from a neighboring village the previous night, which lead to the violence. In spite of this, another incident occur the same day leaving three additional people dead and others wounded during a meeting of a political party that is associated with former military dictator Muhammadu Buhari according to a witness. In the article it makes it well known that this is not the first time that this city has seen violence. JOS is sitting right in the middle of a war between Christians and Muslims, who are battling over control of lands and politics. Can we say the : The War of the Religions?: First it's the war of the Israel and Palentine, now its the battle of the Muslims vs. the Christians.
