Pakistan Calls on Taliban Militants in Swat to Lay Down Arms

By: Salma bawazir
Severe fighting has gone off between the army and militants in the Swat Valley. There were thousands of civilians who were forced to flee. As of now the Taliban are on the run. Pakistani troops are fighting an about 4,000 rebellious who went back on a February peace. Authorities agreed to select Islamic judges neighbor districts under the February accord. The Taliban far along to within 100 kilometers of Islamabad last month. I think that this is an alarming situation. They should be seized and stopped. I think it was a bad idea for Pakistan to sign the agreement with Taliban.
