Bombings in Nigeria

On Independence day, two cars were blown up in the Nigerian capital of Abuja. There was a rebel group, MEND who has already taken credit for the bombing. According to the article, it was politically motivated. I think that it is terrible to see this in other countries. I can not imagine what it would be like if I was driving to school and saw two cars exploded on the side of the road. They have also detained a media power who owns a network. He is backing a former general who ruled through 1993 and is going to be the opposition for the current leader.
