Yemen Blackmailing US, and the World

John Brennan, a White House counter-terrorism advisor was in Yemen recently. An embarrassing scene developed when the Yemeni president grabbed Brennan as he was about to enter his limo and begged Brennan for money before Brennan was able to get himself free and leave. Lately, Yemen has been blackmailing the US and the world by stating that they need constant foreign aid money or they will be forced to cooperate with al-Qaeda. Yemen is suspected of allowing some al-Qaeda cells to exist and operate so they can continue to ask for aid. The Yemeni Prime Minister stated that Yemen needs a yearly donation of 40 billion dollars to continue fighting. Yemen's current GDP is about 27 billion dollars.
