Brazil Warns of Global Trade War

Brazil's finance minister, Guido Mantega, warns that Brazil is preparing to bring before the World Trade Organization and G20 the issues of Brazil's deprecation currency. Brazil's trade with the US has dropped from a surplus to a deficit due to the US's attempts to stimulate it's economy through loose monetary policy. The Brazil real has increased against the US dollar in the last two years. The International Monetary Fund warned back in October that some countries are attempting to use their currency as a "weapon".
