Attacks on Al Qaeda concentrate its threat to Pakistan

The war against Al Qaeda continues on Pakistani soil. With the killings of 80 Qaeda soldiers in the last year, Pakistani and American troops continue to fight. However the problem with all this fighting on Pakistani soil is that is is raising conflict with the Al Qaeda and Pakistani people. Also, with addition of about 17,000 American troops coming to help Pakistan, more Taliban are expected to disperse into Pakistan. After assessing the Al Qaeda recently, Dennis Blair- director of American Intelligence, claims that the attacks against American military by the Al Qaeda are not as significant as they once used to be. However, the attacks are not estimated to stop. The Al Qaeda cells have split. Because of the killings of their leaders, the consistent American troop involvement, and any support of the Pakistani government has led the Al Qaeda to reach out to more soldiers whom have the main goal to kill. In the article, it explains the Taliban leaders are reaching out to younger, more impatient soldiers who would like a more immediate attack to happen in Pakistan. They are not interested in long-term global attacks, they want death now. The Al Qaeda are a smart group. They are adapting to the attacks by Pakistani government groups, and they are growing across Pakistani land. The article puts it very clearly, "The Al Qeada is morphing into a monster and growing uglier." Therefore, there should not be more troops deployed to Pakistan because these AL Qaeda and Taliban are not stupid people, they are catching on to our plans, and our attacks.
