Military Drafting Immigrants and Offering Citizenship

With our abundance of immigrants, and our position in Afghanistan and Iran, the military needs more soldiers. Now that our country has a growing population of immigrants, the military is offering them a spot in the American Forces. Why would they want to join? They obtain citizenship! By signing up for the military, the military waives the naturalization fees, so it is easier to obtain citizenship. It is a granted perk in less than six months if immigrants join. If an immigrant is temporary and has lived in the US for at least two years, they are eligible to join. The military believes that some immigrants may have more education, and know more about culture in different parts of the world than other Americans. The plan is to be executed in steps. The first step of the plan is 1,000 enlistees for the military branch alone. If this plan works the plan will spread out to the other branches. These temporary immigrants have to pass a series of tests, an intense background search, and must show pride for America above their native country. With the recent announcement of the deployment of 30,000 troops, it has been hard for the American military to receive many people willing to sign up for the war. Therefore, it was time for them to turn to the temporary immigrants. One code that will not be broken while this program grows is that illegal immigrants are not allowed to join. They must have proof of a legitimate green card. They are looking for people who speak more than one language, and/or medical professionals. If Spanish is the only other language a person speaks, they cannot sign up either.
