"We will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist."
Three months into his Presidency and Barack Obama has so far lived up to expectations. One of the most notable differences between him and his predecessor is how he stepped into the role of diplomat. Citizens and leaders across the globe stand in awe of the President and applaud his efforts to "hug it out, bitch".
Korea's recent missile launch, however, has many skeptical. Comparing him to Jimmy Carter, Obama's opponents think him too soft on foreign leaders to the point of naiveté. They prefer a more Machiavellian style of leadership to the friendlier version. Fortunately for Obama, 2/3 of the country still find him tough enough to deal with foreign affairs and are responding favorably to the progress in Iraq.

This cult of personality is becoming scary. Hitler had one, so did Lenin, Stalin, Castro, Honecker, really not a lot of good leaders had a personality cult around them.
What is also scary is that when people are embedded in this personality cult, they get flaps on their eyes, like horses. And they cannot see what is going on around them.
I am not saying this is going out of hand, but people should just be vary.
