Terror suspects in Afghanistan can sue in U.S. courts, judge rules

By: Mark Adams

For years, the Bush administration was very strict about limiting alleged terrorist to very few appeals and keeping them locked up indefinatley. The Obama administration has slightly pulled back on the reins. The prisoners rights are still very limited but the slight pull back has opened a door for appeals to be heard in United States courts. On Thursday a United States jugde denied the blockage of a court appeal by four terrorist. The men have been detained for 6 years or more. The terrorist will be able to appeal in a United States court room and open the door for a huge lawsuit against The United States.
