US-China Focus at G-20 Summit

By Jenny Elgin

Many are calling the ongoing G-20 summit the "G-2" summit in reference to the first meeting between Barack Obama and Hu Jintao, China's political head. The article speaks mainly of China's economic growth in the past few decades and how it's standing has risen as a global power.

The article also speaks of America's dependence on China - from exports to buying US treasury debt, China has played an important role in the US economy and is now worried that with the US printing large amounts of money, global inflation will result which would cause China's dollar holdings to decline in worth.
