After nearly 30 years in office, Egypt's President Mubarek stepped down today, and handed the power over to military. Crowds of people were seen cheering and celebrating the fact that Egypt is now free. Mohamed ElBaradei, an opposition leader states that "For the first time, Egypt has a chance to be democratic, to be free, to have a sense of dignity, of freedom. So it's amazing. It's just like something we never experienced in our lifetime". This is great news for the country and its citizens who have been protesting all along. It will be interesting to follow this story in the future and see how everything actually works out.
