U.N. Issues Warning about China Drought

The U.N. issued a warning that the severe drought in China is threatening the wheat crop. China is the world's largest wheat producer and has remained self-sufficient in it's production. According to the state run news, the drought is said to be the worst China has experienced in 600 years. If China resorts to importing grain to feed it's people, the effect on the international price of grain may be devastating, as prices will soar even higher than they are currently.
