Yesterday Egypt, today Algeria

Following the success of Egypt's two week protests, Algerians have now taken a stand and are protesting against their own oppressive regime. The protesters risk arrest and beatings, and there have been groups, with the support of the police, going into the crowds and instigating incidents. One incredible moment was when a group of women gathered only to be stopped by a group of policewomen. The article goes on to say that society needs to band together more strongly if they hope to get their hopes and dream accomplished.
