Ahmadinejad To Blame For Iranian Currency?

Over the past year, Iran's currency has dropped significantly in value. The rial is now traded at 31,000 rials to one U.S. dollar where as a year ago, it was traded at 11,000 rials to one U.S. dollar. This trend has been occurring for a year but has accelerated greatly over the last month. Iranian politicians believe that the sanctions placed on Iran's nuclear program by the West is causing this plummet in value. However, President Ahmadinejad is being accused of mismanaging Iran's economy by failing to regulate the currency correctly.  The Iranian parliament is summoning President Ahmadinejad to question or "grill"  him about the plummeting currency and his lack in management of the economy. This is not the first time President Ahmadinejad has been summoned over this issue.
