On Sunday, Ramadi fell captive to the militants of the
Islamic State. Officials have reported that the military headquarters were
ransacked and Islamic State militants have seized heavy weapons that had recently
been sent by Bagdad. The United States is claiming that it is too early to deem
Ramadi a fallen city.
