While the nuclear negotiations with Iran have been going well for the USA and Iran, Saudi Arabia is not happy with the United States's actions. The King of Saudi Arabia decided not to attend meetings with the President nor a scheduled summit at Camp David on Sunday. Friday, however Saudi Arabia was telling a different tale. Many officials in the White House are taking this as a snub, a sign of displeasure at the USA's interactions with Iran. In addition, Saudi Arabian officials were angered over comments the President made in an interview about internal unrest in some Middle Eastern countries, including Saudi Arabia.
It is difficult to balance international relationships as evidenced by the article below. While the USA tries to pacify one nation, it angers another. This is true of any nation-state. Unfortunately, it is difficult, if not impossible to keep all nations satisfied with one another.
