Oil boom

In recent news the Saudi people fired Ali Naimi, who served as the oil minister in the country for many years. He was actually planning on retiring, but the people of the country had other ideas. They replaced him with Khalid al- Falih. He plans to greatly expand he oil development from 10.2 to 12.5 million barrels a day. This article stuck out to me because I find it very interesting how important oil is in our world and I'm curious of how much an impact the jump in production will be.
