According to the article (Click here) UK Police in north-west England arrested 11 Pakistani nationals, in an alleged terrorist plot aganist the UK. The 11 students were in the country on student visas, among them is a 18-year old, handed over to the UK Border Agency for questioning. The names and villages the students are associated with has not been released, and there is no comment from the Foreign Office if the plotters have any connections with Al-Qaeda. There is also conflicting reports from both sides where's UK newspapers claim Pakistan helped with the capture, but Pakistan's FO Mr. Malik denied any Pakistani connection with the arrests. Mr. Malik claims that no evidence has been provided to the governemnt that shows any connections, and if there is connections with any plots only then can the UK government try them in the UK court system, or be released back into Pakistani custody.
On the other hand, the Immigration minster Phil Woolas, down played Pakistani High Commissioner criticism, about UK refusing to do background check. This is a normal reaction for UK to have when they can't solve there own problems and blame others while on the other hand there is public out-rage where the UK government isn't doing enough to protect UK and its borders.
