Safe Without the Bomb?

A world without nuclear bombs sounds great to most people. That includes President Obama, but apparently the rest of the world does not fall into the same mind frame as us. Most recently North Korea launched a satellite that many people believe to be much more than that. A few countries, including North Korea - obviously - along with China and Russia believe that Obama has no right to tell Mr. Kim that he cannot launch sectors of a space program. Despite that fact that the US has a rather large collection of nuclear warheads, Obama has promised not to use them while he is in power. The five countries with the most nuclear weapons have all promised to lessen thier collections except China. Obama is also rumored to be attempting to resubmit a bill that would ban the testing of nuclear weapons. It was also said that if the US signs this that China may follow suit. Even with collections of nuclear weapons on the decline, many countries are still looking into how far collections may be able to travel in case of needed defense.
