US 'deeply disappointed' as Iran convicts reporter

By Adham Nemeh

This article is talking about the journalist’s Roxana Saberi, a 31-year-old dual American-Iranian citizen. She was arrested but in Iran, because she was working in Iran without press credentials. But later on the judge was talking about more serious allegation where he mentioned that she was spying for the United States. President Barak Obama was really dissatisfied when he heard that the journalist's father told the radio station ” his daughter was tricked into making incriminating statements by officials who told her they would free her if she did.”
This will negatively affect the negotiation between the Iran and the United States. Especially with what is going on right now this can make is worse. At the same time the U.S government should not make any bad statements about Iran if Iran has prove about how Roxana was spying to the United States. Even if Iran did not have prove, then I think it would be better solution to President Barak Obama to negotiate about this problem with Iran, in order to solve this problem and maintain better relationships between both counties.
