Japan has set up meetings with Australia to arrange Japan's free-trade agreement with a major agricultural exporter. The slumping Japanese economy has pressured its government to open trading which would be worth $60bn annually. Though Japan is still acting conservative at the negotiation table to protect their domestic market this is the first time they have been prompted to compromise. Hopefully by Japan creating better global access and appeal for their trade it will boost their economy.
