When Defense Secretary General Mattis arrived in Kabul, rockets started coming in from ISIS sympathizers and the Taliban in the area. Rockets hit the airport where General Mattis had landed.
In response to this attack, the United States sent over a military response of it's own that included several missiles. One of these missiles detonated prematurely producing civilian casualties as a result. In an area where tensions were already high, the idea of killing non-combatants is particularly unsettling and only serves to escalate the situation. The total number of casualties is not yet known.
