China hiding oil tankers

China's supertankers have been deactivating the tracker. Noticed in June, this trend appears to have been happening for some time now. Similar to what we have studied in this class, the International Maritime Organisation [sic] (IMO) doesn't have real power to police this problem. With no leverage, this is a case of anarchy. This whole ordeal is important because of trade sanctions. The President's administration is trying to find out more as this apparent trade goes against our sanctions with Tehran.
