Australia arrests Serb war crimes suspect Vasiljkovic

A former Serbian paramilitary leader suspected of war crimes has been arrested in Australia. According to Australian officials the Netherlands was responsible for providing the information that led to the detainment of Vasiljkovic. Apparently Vasiljkovic is wanted in other European countries for various alleged crimes. Of course, he denies such allegations and insists that he is innocent. Vasiljkovic was previously detained in Australia back in 2006, but was released last September when Australia's Federal Court turned down an extradition request and set him free. Australian Home Affairs Minister Brendan O'Connor will decided on what to do with Vasiljkovic, but for now is being held in prison.
