While in Tehran, Pakistan's ambassador to Iran, Mohammad Bakhsh Abbasi, was injured in attack on his car by an unidentified Afghan man. The ambassador was taken to the hospital and the assailant has been arrested and is now in captivity. The envoy was apparently traveling without bodyguards or a driver, but earlier reports on local TV said that two bodyguards had been killed. However, the ambassador appears to have not been seriously injured. More on the story is likely to emerge once more details are uncovered.
