Fighting In South Sudan

Crossfires between north and south Sudan are claiming more lives.Fighting between Melut and Paloich (which is said to be an oil-rich area) has killed 30 people. Conflict that has now spread to the upper Nile state, started between Melut and Paloich when soldiers refused to redeploy their weapons to the north. Even when Provisional results say 99% of voters want to secede from north Sudan and south Sudan is set to becoming the newest nation, its seems fighting will rage-on until they are officially separated. Years of conflict over the religious and ethnic difference between the south and the north may end by July 9 2011.
